One of the election results I dreaded came to pass… In OK, Stitt and Walters got elected and they promised to refuse Fed education $, which will gut education in a state that already underfunds. On a personal level it sucks as it means my sister's teacher job will be gone.On twitter.com

Not just gone at her school, but statewide. OK schools will be paired down to only the basics. Anything else like family and consumer sciences, like my sister teaches, will be cut.Permalink On twitter.com

My sister planning on moving as she's done with that state. I don't blame her. I don't really know much about what it's like being a teacher in CA or anywhere else to be honest.
