  1. Mastodon has more and more begun to fulfill the same needs as Twitter for me. It’s not perfect but I feel better about using it rather than being another user on Bird Site 2.0, the Freedumb Troll Edition. I’ll be making this account private and likely will stop checking it.

  2. Played a fun game of For The Queen! The Queen was killed in an ambush, betrayed by her beloved assassin. During the chaos, her personal nut milk maid and the court himbo ran off to be with each other — the himbo secretly had a crush on the nut milk maid!

  3. Decided this extended holiday weekend would be a good time to dig into some solo RPGs. Broke out the color pencils for “Dwelling, a solo game for ghosts”! It’s a beautiful game book by smolghost and I love that it’s encouraged to draw in it!

  15. Do I know anyone with (teenager level) teaching experience in CA or any other left leaning state? My sister, who is a teacher in Oklahoma wants to move — is being forced to move really because the newly elected officials are planning on gutting edu $ which will slash her job.

  16. One of the election results I dreaded came to pass… In OK, Stitt and Walters got elected and they promised to refuse Fed education $, which will gut education in a state that already underfunds. On a personal level it sucks as it means my sister's teacher job will be gone.

  26. Just finished my #bbc22 game of Electric Bastionland. I purposely prepped more than required just to see what would happen. The players got to less than 10% of my prep — ha! And they took some story deviations which required some quick on the spot improvisation! Love it!

  33. This clarifies to me why the right cares only about “protecting children” from “corruption” and not children’s welfare as a whole.
